Working in the medical field for a mobile company sparked the inspiration for my business, Arthurian Lotus—a mobile facial service that brings the luxury of the spa experience directly to my clients’ homes. The idea was rooted in my personal journey with skin challenges, which shaped not only my business but also my perspective on self-care.
Growing up, I struggled with eczema, a condition I still manage today. On top of that, I dealt with persistent comedones on my forehead that no product seemed to help. My attempts to extract them at home only made things worse, leaving me feeling frustrated and defeated. That’s when I discovered professional facials. Treatments like microdermabrasion and dermaplaning transformed my skin in ways I never thought possible, clearing up my forehead and restoring my confidence.
Later, during pregnancy and postpartum, hormonal shifts brought new challenges, making my skin unpredictable all over again. Regular facials became my saving grace during those times, helping me navigate the changes with care and compassion. Pairing those treatments with healthier lifestyle choices like eating well and exercising made a noticeable difference—not just for my skin, but for my overall well-being.
This journey taught me the value of investing in myself and how transformative it can be to feel confident in your own skin. Inspired by my aesthetician and my own experiences, I created Arthurian Lotus to share that transformation with others.
